To me Mike was like a Hero or an Idol....the very first freeware model I got for FS9 was one of Mike´s, after a while I had them all and kept looking when he would come out with another to catch it.....a salute to you Mike, you are grand!!! hope you are really enjoying your retirement...:salute:

He posted on Facebook today that he was upset because it was too cold to shoot outside and the nearest indoor shooting range was too far away....

I produce models for FS but it was Mike's work that made me get off my backside and do something. Come on back Mike!

Mikes the best!

Mike did some great work! Got me into flight sim more than ever in FS9. I hope you do more flying in retirement than you had time before.:salute:

To me Mike Stone was everything as far as beautiful models for FS9 there was. He was innovative and did not do what is popular, He designed the ones that appealed to him. The Walrus for instance. A tried and true aircraft that saved many a life in the English channel but never got much publicity.
Mike stands alone. There will never be another. I only wish that he would come back. He's sorely missed.
