Don't worry about FSX dying

A2A commented in a recent video that their Accum-sim products will work in "Any capable graphics engine", or something to that effect. I wonder if that means they will find their way into MS Flight? I can only assume Orbx products will find their way in. Or is that assumption of base? Seems logical to me. If that's the case FSX will likely die real quick. I have no issue with tossing out 90% of my addons if I can have the top 10% in a vaslty improved engine.

It'll only really work if the "host" simulation allows outside programs to talk back to it like FSX does. Maybe there planning of getting it working of sorts with BOB2? now that would be great! :jump:

Actually I'm just grateful that there are developers still building great products for flight simulation,A recent trip to BestBuy confirmed this,PC gaming is almost dead compared to console.

Within 5 years I bet there will be a much better sim than FSX....and then everyone who loves aviation sims will jump into it one way or another....but as always some will StoP!!! and continue on with the older stuff...I have a neighbor that swears for his 1965 VW.

With some people it is not their choice to stop upgrading.

On one of the sites I frequent, one of the members can't even run FS2004 on his system. In his words "unless I win the Lottery, or some relative I never knew leaves me an inheritance that I will probably never have the chance to upgrade to a better box, let alone make the switch to FS9 or even FSX."

Regards, Mike Mann

Unrealistic.....I could give that person a lot of tips on how he could get a new system if needed. There is always a way, a correct way, to reach a goal. People who say "no I can´t
are either really sick with some decease or live really under very bad situations like those very poor in Latin America, Bangladesh or so many places on earth...I really mean this Mike. I live in a country where many people say "I can´t" but they surely can if they really tried, its just part of the culture.

Pete has already "fixed up" FSUIPC4 so it will seamlessly interface with Pepar3D...

Plus it already has its own form of SimConnect... ;)
