PTO Cat Launch missions for testers

If you are poor tester of my missions, This is for you..
I have a set of missions for PTO all Catapult launches..
I would like to see if you all like this or not..
I have Jaycees, Source Files included with the missions, for the New Stand-alone birds I built from them..
These birds are used in this mission set.

This is just a Test set to see How you all (Testers) think of this..
I have been doing cat launches for sometime, I didn't think it was
of any big deal..

I was wrong it seems..:redf:

So have a look at what you are getting..

Owen have you tried experimenting with take offs from the carriers with fixed decks? That would be a tremendous breakthrough!

I can do cat launches off a carrier..

But it looks bad..:gameoff:


The Catapults on BB's and Cruisers are easy to do..
But all the ship models have a aircraft on the capapult.. So it is diffciult to make it completely realistic.. If I had a Battleship or cruiser model without the Floatplane on the Catapult... These would be easy to do..

Carriers that's HARD..

Camships work Great, they have a clear catapult, so I can set this up to work well..

It is just placement and timing in the mission.. I haven't solved the problem..
Just danced around it..
 
There are the stock ships, no changes in the items in the game..

This is set up outside of the mission builder..
I have to work out the placement to a few inches..
The set the mission up to start on a stock Camship on the capapult..
It is all extreme mission building is all..

Working under the problem, since no one has gotten over the problem..
Just a different way to build a mission is all..
Nothing super special..Well until I released one of these for the L-5 Anzio set, I just wanted to spice up that ..

Didn't think is was a big deal, been doing these for a couple of years ..
Just didn't think anyone would take notice..
Since it hadn't been done like this, I didn't think there was any interest..

Hi Guys, I just sent the Aircraft folder to everyone..
It seems I managed to leave it out in some of the packages..
And a mission to replace Mission 2
This is the correct mission..

The skins are by Jaycee, and I used them from His upload once here at SOH..
I asked Jaycee if I may re post the source files here at SOH again..

Sorry for the mess up, I am using new New MUCH slower connection now and had to change the way I send things..

But at least I am still online and this is a Blessing..

Hi HH. I have been working on a jap cruiser for a while its about halfway done, would it be of interest to you if i tried to modify it, and deleted the aircraft and swung the catapult round a bit.

You thought about doing this for the V-1 rockets in ETO?

Just a thought. Maybe do it that way and then the pilot has to gauge the fuel needed to get over london and then it nose in on london, just eject before impact??????

Hi Jaycee, Yes please set it up without a float plane on the catapult, and I can set up missions for this..

The catapult doesn't have to be turned, But it would make this easier for me to set up..

If possible sent it to me..

I have a V1 set up on launch ramps doing this also already, I have to set them up as spawns, so they(V1) are on the launchers, and go when needed to in the mission..
It is a hassle to set up, the timing must be perfect.
Once I hear back form those who test this for me, and deside if they like it..
I will release these..

There is a L-5 launch in the upcoming Anzio Mission set from O-1 Driver, and Led Zeppelin,
and myself..
This shall be released when the complete set is ready, I have a couple of more missions to add to this..

And I have a set for MAW I am preparing to release to Regs Hanger also..
And a Eastern front set for MAW to be released here at SOH..

hey dave 2 years ago while you weren't participateing.i uploaded in the archives.V-1's off the ramp launches, V1 tipping pacs, and buckingham vs the V1. you can tip V1's with a special meteor and tempest. with proper effects. also a V1 hitting buckingham palace(if unmolested)lol. those are under my name.hobbit also made some additional chase missions for them.
AND are you going to finish the P-61 ? thats the second plane i came looking for 7 years ago. i remmember it was near completation when you started the mossie.any chance in the near future?

Jaycee are you going to have a ground level runway under the launch ramp.like the extended carrier deck ? that ships been on you hd a long time. lol
