Tragic Ending for an Elegant and Noble Lady!

How sad this is. The second 747 built has ended her life in complete destruction...

The "Juan T. Trippe" was the very first 747 to carry passengers, and only the second one ever built. The first (prototype) is of course preserved in Seattle at the Museum of Flight.
