Martinsburg preview

Just discovered the expanded project - had somehow missed the last couple of pages on this thread but stumbled across the Simforums news item. Am seriously looking forward to it. My FSX base is at KGAI (just up the road from me IRL), but the treatment of the airports in the area is pretty barren. I like flying locally, so am eager for a better FSX experience of my backyard. Looks like perfect country for the upcoming Aerosoft Katana, now that I think about it... Hmmm. OK. 2011 goals are set... :salute:
 
Good to know a fellow KGAI pilot here. I got my US ticket from GAI in 98 when living at Gaithersburg. I just completed Cheat River (WV31) near St George, WV and now 3/4 done with Front Royal (KFRR), VA.

Looks like Graham has a lot of goodies for WV, but now I'll have to go see what WV31 looks like, both with and without photo scenery. Too many airports w/ too small a memory to keep track of them all!
 
Agreed, but we just have to keep reminding ourselves. Thanks again for the 5 M mesh of W Virginia, your work was superb, hope you will keep at it. The screens in this post Another Sale (Carenado) are from your mesh. Gotta make more!!
 
Glad to report that all WV airports completed thus far sit perfectly on LC's mesh, Don and Lance. One more WV airport to go to round out package.:wavey:
 
So far, Martinsburg is my favorite. I'm a sucker for a great set of hangars. All of these are looking great!

Am regrettably a sim pilot only due to the usual run of barriers (funding, medical, spousal resistance). But happy to be able to explore the local area with your help. Looking forward to release!

That is some of the best news this year. LC's mesh has made such a great difference for me, and then to put up your airports, well, I guess I will have to pick up more bottles on the expressway this week so I can get it, hope it doesn't snow anymore, it is so hard to spot the bottles! Thanks for this, Don
