'Morning Gents,

I know there aren't maybe so many large airport lovers here, but nonetheless, let me introduce the upcoming ben Gurion by David Rosenfeld to you.

Looking very nice. I'd have thought that Ben Gurion would be a difficult place to get access to take pictures and such.

The same question entered my mind. I've been there. It's a most unattractive airport which feels like a prison camp. Disembarking from the aircraft onto a beautifully warm tarmac in the middle of the night was the best bit, it was all downhill from there.

People complain about feeling violated and being 'patted down' at airports these days - try being a single male traveller going through Ben Gurion on El Al :isadizzy:
 
You'll be happy to know, Simon, that in the virtual version we're not abusing any passenger :icon_lol:

As for access, David is from Israel and has contacts on the airport. ;-)

As I said, from the outside it's as ugly as any other airport but with very nice weather. If you want to pass through, however, prepare to be strip searched! I knew someone who tried to return to the UK from a Kibbutz holiday and she had a jacket an Israeli soldier had given her (not all he had given her as it turned out) - she was there literally all day explaining why it was in her luggage. Next time I'll fly to Beirut and walk - it might be more pleasant!

Is there any other Israel scenery for FSX?
