PS3 consoles become military supercomputer WOW..

Can you imagine a Call of Duty LAN party on that thing... OMG...

Neat idea, and I like the thinking that can put existing technology to a good if unintended use, the traditional cost for development and time required has been saved which is always a good thing, hats off to that team, well done.
 
I would hate to be the one to have to wire them all together! Talk about a rat's nest! :isadizzy:
 
I read something about this a year or maybe 2 years ago.

Stoy went somthing like this.

Gov was buying PS3 because they could get them cheaper than it would be to make there own supercomputer. Sony was more the happy to sell them to the Gov since at the time the PS3 sells were so bad the needed any thing to boost them!
