OK, all this fuzz about weapons for FSX made us put this one on the clear, something Zeus has been working (in fact, had in his mind) for quite sometime now, working weapons in free flight (not just make believe)also, better missions (which are being outlined), can it have guided weapons? you bet,BUT NOT for this release (it´s A-7´s), it´s planned to do it´s debut on Vol3 of the Corsair II´s (2sairs).Keep in mind this is a test video, never mind the flying and aiming, Zeus is a wonderful coder, but a lousy pilot.

You can check it HERE

Best regards

Thanks for the lousy pilot qualifier. I prefer the term novice pilot.

Gents, this is a concept test. Been on my mind since I started coding in C++ and when I remade the ASCU.

Are guided weapons possible? Yes, they are, but they are complex to code and won't be included in this upgrade. Free falling bombs are all you're going to get. For now.

Don't mean to suggest a real problem here but Norton Internet Security 2011 will not let me access RAZBAM.org because of what it calls "an identity threat". Anybody else having a problem with this site? I only ask the question to alert site personnel to respond and check things out. We've all had false positives before.

We've had that problem ever since a f****g hacker used our site to put a phishing page.
It has been solved.

Thanks, Zeus. I overrode Norton and went to the site after reading your assurance... Enjoyed the bomb run but other than observing the a/c response to the bomb drop, I had problems seeing the impact result...?????

I'm drooling thinking of the possibilities. (with both masters, RAZBAM and VRS). Wake up, breakfast, fly some Vietnam style iron hand missions. Eat lunch, reconfigure, see just how long it takes to empty full racks one at a time. Eat dinner and re-fly some Desert Storm sorties. Hmmmm, sounds like a productive Saturday.<o:p></o:p>

Not to mention talk about the ultimate stress release!<o:p></o:p>

Bad drive home from work, tired of turnpike traffic -> nuke the turnpike bridge while drinking brown liquor and giggling like a schoolgirl.<o:p></o:p>

It is a proof-of-concept video. My goal was to create something to be used in our planned mission packs for the A-7. The bonus was that the bombs also work on free-flight. At the end of the video you will see two smoke columns detailing where the bombs hit. Since this was made on free flight, the scenery did not react to the bomb impacts.

I was aiming at the building cluster but the bombs fell short.

LOL, I didn't mean to critique your bombing proficiency...

I understand that the VRS TacPack can create craters in free flight; will his be able to to the same?

Not on the first version. This is a recent development, mainly for use on our mission packs. It can be used on free-flight but that's not the goal for this version. Future versions will have enhancements for use on free-flight.
