Four Florida Police Officers Killed

In four day span two Miami-Dade cops and two St Petersburg cops have been killed, also a U.S. Marshall was seriously wounded.

It's starting out as a bad year for law enforcement fatalities and gunshot wounds.

Yeah not good at all. Someone went into a police station in Detroit and shot a few officers (not fatally) before the shooter was killed by an officer. That happened yesterday I think. Also, an officer in Washington state I think was also shot recently during a traffic stop. That also happened in the last few days.

We're one of the few countries on earth that force our police officers to go into dangerous situations to carry out "administrative" due process of law (like serving Murder-1 arrest warrants) in an attempt to safely apprehend the lowlifes so money can be wasted on their prosecution. If somebody's hiding in an attic I say give him a 3-count to come out, then start ventilating the attic with a 12-gauge. Blood clean-up and ceiling replacement will still be cheaper than court expenses and incarceration.

One of the reasons I quit law-enforcement...as quick as you get them arrested a fast-talking lawyers or a bleeding-heart judge puts them back on the street! You wouldn't believe the things minors get away with until they become wards of the state or federal system down the road!

I will close this because of the naysayers getting ammo, but I do agree this is an awful time to be a cop and my heart goes out to their families.
