• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

it wasnt and isnt you Empeck.. no worries.. Call it a knee jerk reaction on my part. Others as we've all seen, love to take these dialogs and expand upon them in very negative and hurtful ways.. I'm just presenting a warning to those people to keep it cool cuz momma is here, and shes watching.. Your fine, :) ..

I'd put it on the same shelf as torrent downloads.

Inverse piracy, lol.

I've just checked. They *have* free downloads, but you'll have to wait a whopping 400 seconds until you can click the download link. Yuk!

Thy should not be loading things with out the author permission if thats the case. Thy should be asked to take the stuff off if the author do's not want it on there site.:angryfir:

The time it takes to compose an e-mail to the admins of those sites is time wasted.

"Screaming at walls" describes it really well.

I really want to keep this thread open so let's get back to "Must haves" please.

Thanks.:engel016:

OK, must haves for me. Most of them already has been mentioned in this thread, but I like these planes.

Freeware:

Carrier Ops: F-14 and Goshawk by Dino Cattaneo, A-1 Skyraider by Piglet, Nimitz carriers by Javier Fernandez. Alternative HUD for F/A-18 by Neutrino. Sludge Hornet mod by Sludge.

Helicopters: Shawnee Bananacopter by Mick Posch. HTR flight dynamics by Fred Naar.

Warbirds: everything by Piglet. RWD-8, RWD-10 and RWD-14 by Lucas Kubacki.

Payware: everything by A2A, VRS Superbug, A-10A by Iris.

The ALS Flanker, Skysim Mirage and the Royal French Navy Etendard are must haves in my opinion remember to get Aicarriers and the FNS Clemenceau too!

Whitehawk

I have FSX....but it is sitting in a drawer collecting dust as my system won't run it smoothly enough for me to enjoy properly. But...when day or decade comes that I have a system that will run FSX full out, the very first plane that I am going to install is Wozza's FSX Texan. I have used his Texan/Harvard/Wirraway packages in CFS2 and FS9 and they are great planes. I have seen enough screen shots of the FSX package to know that I want to fly it!

Other planes that I want to check out when the time comes....Piglet's FSX stuff, the Razbam A-7 and A-6 packages.
