There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

my vista computer has died!
i am thinking of getting a new one with 3Ghz processor and 3GB RAM, but it is on windows 7 64 bit,
will CFS3 work!!!!

Agree with Hairyspin, Shop around and try to find one with more memory at least 6 or 8 on a new rig to start out with , and you can always add more if you want, and when you do get it just read over the Windows 7 install fix for CFS3

It works fine, the fix mentioned in the post below may be required on some Win 7/64 systems, mine works fine until I did a patch then I had to apply the fix. I also agree about the memory for 64 bit and gaming 4 gig of ram should be min, 6 is better and 8 is very good. I wnet to 12 gig, and I did not notice must improvement over 8 but with my Video Editing Software it makes a difference, just not much for games.

Just take care when installing ETO to a 64-bit OS - get the ETO Installation Guide and follow it. MAW has a very clever installer and installs to Win7 64-bit without problems.
