Bloch MB 151experiment

Without getting my books out, I should have thought Y-8, if it has a serial at all...

You managed to change the color of the "pot"?

If the "-" is not there on the 152, it's possibly only because of the cannon bulges on the 152. I stand with the "Y-8" on the 151! In any case, the serial is too close together; the letters need to be larger and more spaced out across the wing, starting slightly further inboard.

I would suggest Arial Bold, 75 points, then 120% increase in height for 100% width. See below. Perhaps a little on the large side, but not far wrong.
 
From the photo of the real one, it looks as if the cannon bulge is between the letters/figures on each wing... If the lettering is inverted - no idea - it's a common problem. You ought to see some I've worked with...
