The use of nVidia Inspector is the ticket, as nHanser will no longer work with the newer drivers.

Much easier too.

I went ahead and downloaded Inspector today. I have spent the last few hours playing with it. Here are my initial thoughts for the benefit of anyone who reads this post and hasn't used NVidia Inspector before -
The threads mentioned above are very useful and tell you where to get Inspector and also how to use it.
Read the guidance note carefully! Its very easy to miss something.
Inspector seems a nice little programme.
Using inspector its very easy to try out a variety of AA and filtering settings in FSX
I found that the highest suggested settings reduced my frame rate and caused stuttering (perhaps not too suprising as many seem to have overclocked processors - which I dont have).
However, after trying out a few lower settings, I find that - in terms of FR and stutters (gone now) I am back where I was when just using the FSX in game settings.
But, graphics have improved. Most noticably tree shimmers are much reduced.
So overall, well worth trying out, IMHO. As with everything in life, you have to pay for it. But if you accept the trade offs, then this is a simple way to find AA and filtering settings that best suit you and your pc.
Cheers
