Great looking bird, the Russians built a couple of them, but the Germans never got it working before the war ended..

Have a "Purple Tiger" for one if, I see one..

Problem is: How do you hide it if the odds get against you in combat? The clouds arent made of skittles you know.... :)
 
Started one years ago and stopped.

Now that's one I'm in no hurry to build: 'tis simply hideous, quite ghastly, almost as frightful as a Hobbit Tigercat.

@Autothrottle: he's depending on the colour scheme for his safety, hoping enemy pilots will pause to check they aren't still smoking.... :mix-smi: :isadizzy:
 
There's always the Shagbat, aka Supermarine Walrus, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and for a pilot up to his neck in the oggin a Walrus was a lovely sight... :wiggle:

It was probably the most beautyfull plane ever to those being picked out of the drink by it. :)
