Oddly enough, this very afternoon, I started my second reading of Samuel Hynes' wonderful Flights of Passage ( what a terrible title, from a professor of literature ). And now, first shots of an Avenger. It must be synchronicity.

We've had a couple of airworthy Avengers on the UK airshow circuit in the last 20 years or so, plus Duxford's static example, so I think this new model will go down very well on this side of the pond too. I'll certainly be getting it.

That's a mighty good read, I enjoyed that book very much. I think he shows brilliantly how a young aviator in these days felt and appreciate his frankness.
Agree on the title, sounds a bit awkward.
