T-33 virtual cockpit work

Trying to do some stuff with the VC, green interior. Is it possible to add gauges to the VC without using G-max?

You can program the gauges using XML coding information and bitmaps created in the software of your choice.

Depends. If the model uses a gauge mask, you can only swap existing gauges for new ones.

If the gauges are entirely placed with the panel.cfg file on a gauge mask covering the entire panel, you can place gauges as you please (like turning it into a glass cockpit).

You should be able to place additionnal gauges simply by editing the panel.cfg.
Piglet's planes at that time were using only 2D gauges which are easy to move around/resize/replace etc...
EDIT: outstanding job with those textures by the way. I'm really happy to see somebody working on that. After the reworked exterior textures, the convertion to FSX native, and the rework of the virtual cockpit shape, this was really the final necessary step !! :)

Yep, great work Henry. I also noticed that the final VC textures released with the remade canopy frame were not the ones I had done when I did the paint kit. I redid the entire VC in hi Res textures, but the VC textures in the release were very blurry.
I'll definitely be downloading Henry's work though because of the color change. . .it'll go well with the repaints I have. . .:salute:

Gauges can easily be designed and added using a program like FS Panel Studio for FSX. If you like use the EW-133 model. There is an extra gauge frame where the gun sight was. I am working on a version that is a T-33B with a travel pod and the cockpit laydown is essentially the one used on the EW-133 model. BTW, your screenies are great.

Thanks!
Just bought FS panel studio.
Here is some progress, i would like to add some 50's or 60's radio navigation gauges to the right in the panel. Is there some freeware available? Also Radioman, is it possible to texturize the highlighted parts?
