I don't know if anyone is interested, but looks like IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover will be available from the 1 April. You can already per-purchase.

I loved IL2 Sturmovik. It would be cool though if the details on each aircraft was A2A quality!

Thanks for the reminder....this one had slipped off the radar! I always liked the IL2 series...looked good, flew good, and good quick mission setup for quick "practice" runs. Will mark the date on the calendar. :applause::applause:

i have the original IL2 and ive never gotten it to work on any of my computers..3 of them now...the planes show and fly now...but the ground is just white panels......makes me fear buying the new one..but the IL2-3M is my fav aircraft of world war two

Preordered mine about three weeks ago from gogamer.com

Expected ship date is third week in April. The date has shifted at least twice now. Simhq.com has all the skinny on CoD.

The date has shifted at least twice now.

Twice? This thing is the Duke Nukem of combat flight sims. It has changed many times over many years. Ubi still has the announcement that it will be on shelves in 2006 on their website.

That is of course under the old name, but it is the same game. And as you can tell by me knowing about that website... I have been waiting a long time for this one lol. Screenshots look fantastic.

just rember that Oleg has said that you wont be able to run it on max with todays top end stuff as its been done so that as tech gets better, the game will look better. Just dont mention that IL2 was done the same way and has problems on todays top of the range hardware because the code cant handle it :monkies:
