New beauty!!!

Yes, she is definitely a beauty!!! The exterior textures are right up there with the big boy payware crowd.:applause: I just finished an hour flying her and must also say she's very fun to fly also. She has the same "feel' to me as the A2A P-47, you know "heavy iron". With a full load of fuel you have to be on your toes to prevent accelerated stalls and other "ruin your day" mishaps.
Thank you very much for your talent and generosity, it is MUCH appreciated:salute:.

Double-WOW, where have I been?

Oh that's right, I've been moving pixel brushes.

Downloading now, thanks Tim.

What a great aircraft to add to the Peculiar WWII collection

Thank you Piglet

Have to say...its a good looking aircraft :applause::applause::applause:

What a bummer it is only available from Flightsim. I , for some reason, cannot d/load from that site. It always freezes at around 2-3%.

Yeah sure...if it's ok with Tim? I've pmed him for permission.
All SOH members have pre-approved go-ahead for repaints. If someone wants to navigate the SOH upload maze, and upload this plane, go for it!:salute:

Thanks tim.

Here's the 2 texture files for the captured Raiden with a new alpha channel to make the metal shinier...

But was it all that shiny in the first place? The one area the Japanese lagged behind the US was in metallurgy. Japan had fine airframes. Strength to weight and design wise, they were often on par with ours. Lucky for us, their metals technology lagged behind, and they could never build high powered engines comparable to the US industry, that were deserving for their advanced airframes.

Meanwhile, the US turned out P&W Double Wasps that were designed for 2000-hp, but when tuned properly 3000-hp was not beyond a believable goal.
