AFX_FSX Problem

falcon409

SOH-CM-2025
I haven't used AFX in about a year now and decided to do my local airport with photoreal ground texturing and just not release it to the public. I have the ground cover in place and was adjusting the AFCAD to match using AFX which I used tirelessly for as long as it's been out without any problems. Now, however, I seem to have a glitch and I'm not sure what's causing it.

I loaded the default AFCAD, made the corrections which was basically removing everything except the three runways, the airport reference point and the tower location. . . .all taxiways, ramp areas, etc are gone as they didn't come close to the actual airport diagram. I saved it to the scenery folder of the airport I'm working on and loaded up FSX to take a look and do further movement of the runways to actually align them with the photoimage. FSX locks up as soon as the aircraft selection window comes up. If I remove the AFCAD and restart FSX it's fine.

I've looked at the "Properties" for the airport and see nothing that would cause any problems including the airport format which I have set to FSX. Any ideas?:salute:

There's a fault finder in one of the menus. I don't have it here on the laptop so I can't check any further.

Thanks Tom,
Amazing how much a person forgets when you don't use something every day. The fault finder located two nodes on the crosswind rwy (left over from having deleted connecting taxiways) that weren't connected as well as start locations for the missed approach rwy that's no longer in use.

It's all good now. . .thank you sir!!:salute:
