Hello Everyone,

I just uploaded two Storch versions, the Fi156U and the Fi156P that are made from, and with approval, of Piglet's original CFS2 Fi156C Storch. I have been working on this project on and off for perhaps over a year. There are some nice features added that include visible wing mounted weapons in VC that are toggled by CFS2 keys. Pstrany did fine research and made the weapon racks, the SC50 bomb and depth charge as close to historically accurate as could be done based on the artifacts that could be acquired.

I hope you enjoy these unique Storch versions!

Oglivie,

This is a very welcome addition to my favorite touring bird of CFS2! Thank you so very much! :salute:

Always wanted to own a Storch after I had the opportunity to see one fly during a visit to Florida. Nice modifications, thanks.

Me too.

Back in my flying days there was a French built version of the Storch, an MS.500 Criquet based at New Hudson in Michigan. I enjoyed watching it flown, a very interesting aircraft. From what I know it is now based in Washington State. Here are some pics of er at New Hudson.

Very interesting.
The P(olice) version was armed to attack small groups of partisans and such.
Also the ZOLL (costums) had two of these. I found a pic of one in a museum a few years ago.
I will try to find it.

Oglivie,

I've always had a weakness for Storch and I'm not sure why but perhaps it's the resemblance to the Piper Cub which is my favorite aircraft (well - top 3 anyway). But the Storch seems to take the Cub's fundamental lines to their logical ends. It has a awkward look that is somehow justified and hence, to me at least, has a simple, austere beauty.

Does it fly sweet like those old tail-dragger's - don't answer - I'll find out for myself.

Nice work,
AC

Yep - I like it,

I put her through some paces and here's a pic ...

After several attempts at this move I can also confirm that the right wing tears off nicely!

Again - nice job,
AC

The right wing tears off nicely..:icon_lol:.

Reply, I did that also to test the wing racks and weps for breakage. Quite a joy ride when the wing is absent.

Thanks for the compliments!
