No Fuel Truck??

LouP

Flight Sim Junkie
So I am shuttling passengers around Alaska today and had a drop of at PAKT. I needed fuel so I summoned a fuel truck and got the message "No fuel truck available at this airport". so I grunt and hover over to the fuel pumps. I get there and what do I see sitting there? :angryfir:

So how do you put "fuel trucks at an airport? It would be nice if they actually worked when you see them. :a1451:

Thnx,
LouP :icon_twi:

PS. Thnx ORBX for all the cabins and lighthouses to have someplace to ferry to.

Yea, poorly thought out object placement I think. If the airport doesn't support an FBO and it's "self serve", then don't place a fuel truck next to the refuel pit, lol.:salute:

It's Sunday and the driver doesn't work weekends? :173go1:

Likely it's just a static object and not a real FSX fuel truck.

Yes there is a way to add a fuel truck. If you download any of the AFCAD programs out there, there is a fuel truck parking spot. Once you add it and connect it to either a vehicle pathway or aircraft pathway, you're in business. (A restart is usually required.)

I suspect there is one at PAKT based on that picture. I'd bet it's just not connected to a pathway.

I'd do one and upload it, but my computer is 7,000 miles away and broken. :angryfir:

Hmmm, PAKT does have a fuel parking spot, it is at the fuel depot, and is connected to taxiway A. So why doesn't the fuel truck respond? Weird....

Do you need to be in a specific parkig spot for the fuel truck to "find" you, maybe?
