Yeh it's a reproduction,never saw the real thing with an automatic transmission.

Very nice indeed. Having driven both real and repro Cobras I think this automatic might be able to "cure" one of the problems I have had with the manuals.
The engine/gearbox position which is of course great for weight distribution forces the bell housing far back into the footwell. And as a consequence the pedals are offset to the left of center of the steering wheel by quite a bit. Not a very comfortable position IMHO.

The little Austin Healey sports cars are set up the same Sunny...not very comfortable.
They always look a treat those Cobra's.
