Just stumbled on this via the French virtual Navy site, not had chance to fly it, but any FSX freeware is worth a look!

Hmmm, maybe a year and a half ago, I downloaded a CT-4 Trainer from a Royal New Zealand AF site. It was an excellent model, great fun to fly and I redid the external textures to sharpen everything up and even redid the VC bitmap extensively. I just went looking for this airplane again when I saw this thread and found that while I can still download from the site, it says support for the airplane can be done through Frat Bros. So was this always a Frat Bros design and I'm looking at the same aircraft or did the Frat Bros do a different version? What's the deal?:wiggle:

If you read on the site, they say that they've redone the old model and changed the performance and look to an "E" model instead of the original "B".

Actually, aside from a lot of screenshots displayed in a slide show, I couldn't find any link at the top of the page that took me to a stationary page that discussed anything about the airplane, other than the payware version which only speaks of the pilot who was killed practicing a solo routine.

I still like the mods I made to the VC and exterior better, so it's a mute point. Thanks for the info.:salute:

To clarify the CT-4B is the type operated by the BAe Flying school in Aussie (contracted to the RAAF). The CT-4B has a 200hp engine. The CT-4E as operated by the RNZAF, RTAF and a few others has a 300hp donk.

The CT-4B with BAe colours as modelled by Frat may have the performance modelled of the CT-4B version but it retains the looks of the CT-4E model (mainly related to the cowling)
