FLY!?!?!?! You mean there's things that fly in this sim?:isadizzy:

I don't think I've been out of slew mode for more than 15 minutes at a time for a year or so. I do have both payware and freeware planes that I like to fly though.

I'm kinda with Panther. The old VA was fun but between flying, making scenery, and testing, my flying time has gotten a little thin.

At the moment I`m enjoying Real Flight Grumman F6F :applause: , but I also regularly fly :
Aerosoft F-16, Aerosoft Hughes H-1B, RealAir Spitfire, Flight Replicas lovely Me-262 and L-4, and not to forget Skysim Hawk T.MK1. If I have to move people I prefer Level-D 767 or Aerosoft DHC-6 Twin Otter.

I've been recently stuck in a F-14B :wiggle:

Before that:

Dino Cattaneo's T-45
Razbam's A-6
IRIS's Phantom
Almost anything Piglet has made

I spend most of my time in whatever is my current project; right now a Waco SRE and a Ryan YO-51 Dragonfly.

Paul :mixedsmi:

Where'd you get a Tomcat for FSX?

You mean this one?

Something being worked on over at IRIS

My Swiss Army knife (PC-12) has, by far, the most hours on it compaired to everything else

How many hours now Marlin? You've spiked my curiosity. :d

My airliners have props, are historic and are sometimes flown like GA. :d

Willy

Willy,

I dont think you are allowed to count 'secret' shipments of questionable goods to confidential locations on dates that dont exist.

Just out of interest, there's a threat that FSPassengersX will be released "before Christmas"(*), which might be a boost to some people who fly airliners?

(* - note that it doesn't say which Christmas... :costumes:)

:icon_lol: I was just looking at that.

It would be the perfect companion to the Islander while flying around a completed FTX Australia.:friday:

Sorry to drag this off topic, but it's related to the "having a reason to fly" thing... I'm tempted to do a 1940s/50s airline, starting with a Tiger Moth and graduating eventually to the B377. Could be interesting to see how FSPaxX deals with that behemoth!!!

I'll shut up now and return you to your regular programming.

Checking my logbooks 43% of my hours have accrued in Jean-Michel Castagne's beautiful Bleriot XI, with another 29% out and about with Joe Binka's sweet Antoinette Type VII. :)

The other 27% is spread over various other propellor driven aircraft (37), with the Bristol F2B and the AA-5b neck and neck at 5% each.

Mind you if Rob ever finishes his Sopwith Snipe then that'll take up all my air time for the forseeable future. :) Hint, hint. :kilroy:

I prefer mostly small and medium sized classic piston engine aircraft from the Golden Age up to ca. 1950s, but also enjoy modern GA and Bush planes or gliders. Especially when flying over dense modern scenery. My favourite is currently Aerosofts Hughes H1.

I hope it gets better FPS than the PC-9...:kilroy::cost1:
The VC should be better because it has 3D gauges built in now. I'm not sure of the poly count compared to the PC-9 (i just paint them) but I'm getting similar to better performance compared to the PC-9 in exterior view.

Well, I obviously spend most of my time flying whatever project I am working on at a given time...:costumes:

My interest is General Aviation, and in particular home-built aircraft. I have a pretty big list of planes I'd like to do. The Quickie has a good start, and I have my eye on a few other projects that would be fun...:)
