A few isolated instances of jumping have been reported, and this appears to be related to the damping ratios in the aircraft.cfg's [contact_points] being too 'real' (i.e. within too fine a tolerance) for some systems.

For those with the problem, please change the highlighted numbers to those as follows:

For those who do not have a problem with jumping, there is no need to change your aircraft.cfg.

New installers will be uploaded in the next few days, once we are sure this fix works for all instances of jumping.

New installers have been sent to the distributors of the Flight Replicas L-4, and should be on line early tomorrow (Dec. 10) or in the next day or so.

The changes are small, just to the gear damping in the contact points, so that those few whose systems didn't like the originals can now taxi without jumping around.

It also adds functionality, so that those who like film/photo prop blurrs can modify the bitmap to add that effect.

Forgot to mention. I uploaded the new installer yesterday. You can get the fix by downloading the product again and reusing your product key.
 
Should have bought it from Skyunlimited! How the heck do you know if the Simmarket file is the updated version???
 
Just downloaded and installed and it's the original download again. No prop rotation.
If anyone gets the new version from Simmarket then please let me know because you can bet that Simmarket won't tell me.

Strange, I had an email on Dec.10 saying it was replaced. Let me see what's going on....

Roger, just tested all 4 models from the new installer I sent off, and all have rotating blurred prop disks in both external and VC.

I'll just check with SimMarket - in the meantime, would you mind doing an uninstall and reinstall?

Just heard back: SimMarket accidentally mis-spelled the new file name, so users were still downloading the old one. Should be corrected now.

I'm not going to download the same file for a fourth time. I appreciate your efforts Mike but Simmarket evidently have their fingers up their bottoms. 2.0.0.32 FR-L-4_FSX.exe

Just sent another email to SimMarket....

And btw, the 2.0.0.32 is the installer software version, nothing to do with the L-4.

Downloaded this morning and although the file name/version is the same the prop now has animation:applause: I added the alpha from the GAS J2Cub et voila
