Error Message "Can't load campaign file "nek.xml"

Help! I downloaded "V1s Over London" and "V1sfix". I've flown the first two missions and get Error Message: "can't load campaign file "nek.xml". Reason: unknown country id "Austrailia"".

The first two missions load after I press "OK". Does anyone know how to fix this?

replace Australia by Britain in the mission file.

Hi renereimann,

Doing as LZ suggests will fix the error in part, you'll still get the campaign file cant be loaded message, and then pressing OK will take you into the mission.

Question: are you running the NEK (nationalitiy expansion kit) in your install? if not then installing it will fix all of the error messages you are seeing.

It will also help out in the future as a lot of missions etc have been created using countries called for in the expansion set.

I had NEK installed but I have re-installed it to try to fix the "nek.xml" file. NEK has many parts and I have re-installed parts 1, 1A and 1B. Do I need any more parts of NEK?

This is not a major problem as Capt. Winters said.

All you need is the 'NEK Redux' edition... It pre-empts everything but that 293mb cut scene animation file... (but that is optional)

Renereimann, are you working with "stock" CFS3 or ETO?

The ETO NEK is special and is not available by separate download, only with ETO.

Base CFS3, on the other hand, will take the downloadable NEK sets.

This is the most recent NEK for CFS3, and there are two parts. They're right here at SOH.

In order to have a proper, full NEK, the two above files are necessary.
