Vertigo Vans RV8 WIP shots (now released payware)

This and the RV-7 that is due out "soon" are two very long awaited aircraft for me. the RV-7 sounds like its about a month or so away.
 
I LOVE RV-8s!

Would you mind putting a fairing on that tail wheel. (It adds 10kts airspeed and sex appeal! lol)

I was being "sarci"! (In the US we say I was being sarcastic. Note the "lol".)

In reality it might add 1kt (or less), but I have one on my RV-8. And, recently, I started using gap seal tape on seams. All for the sake of efficiency because gas is getting way too expensive.
 
personally i'm not fond of civilian aircraft but the vans with the excellent cockpit is changing my mind,
 
That RV looks incredible. I'm glad it is finally seeing the light of day! Repainters will have a great time with this one.
 
in regards to the painters, the paintkit consists of one psd file for the whole aircraft so additional paints is very easy, and for those that own a RV8, we're thinking about releasing a vc paintkit.

A vc paintkit would be a great addition and nice to have so we could fully customize our RV-8's !
