Carl Ben Eielson's Jenny used to hang in the airport here in Fairbanks before they built the new terminal. Don't know where it is now.

I'd love to see that! Even in FS it can be hard, just imagine for real in those low temps. But that's why those guys made history, too, and we're still talking about them :) CBE has always been an inspiration!

I took these pics early this morning. The scenery is Plum Island - it's really worth to buy and fly! And to warm up a bit, I spent the evening down south in Florida with another peculiar plane and another magnificent scenery (Aerosoft Cap Caneveral).
Where else can you take a journey through time and seasons within one single day?:costumes:

Did ye no switch the trees over to "winter textures"? Just go to the Plum Island scenery folder in FSX and click the little "bat" file - you'll recognise the name and what it does, but if you are concerned, the manual explains it.
