Well, I thought that I would never get to see something like the Doolittle Reunion at my home airport again... But apparently because of the success and the amount of people that turned out, it has been announced that the 70th Doolittle Reunion will be held again at the Air Force Museum & the potential 25, 25!!!! B-25's will be once again staging in Urbana, Ohio!!

You can listen to this broadcast by WarbirdRadio for more info:

This is GREAT!!
I watched the B-25 group fly over my Hobbit Hole last time and I was thrilled..
BRAVO..:salute: :salute: :salute:
Can't wait..
WOW!!!

That's awesome!!!

I thought they ended the Doolittle Raiders reunion some years ago, because of a lack of... alumni. Glad to hear it's still going!!

Wow - 20+ B-25's ?? That would be a sight to see. We WILL demand pictures !!

:running:
And video... without added music! I can't image what it would be like to have twenty-five B-25's idling, taxiing, taking off, flying overhead, and landing would sound and feel like. Just one gives me thrills.

They voted on that... a committee of people that do the reunions to have a "Last" Hurrah.. It was voted down by the Raiders themselves. Their response; they made a promise to Doolittle himself to do these get togethers till there was but one man left... in which he will crack open a bottle of Hennessy cognac and toast to the 79 other heroes....

[edit]

Sorry... I got that wrong actually, the last TWO survivors will crack open the bottle and toast the other 78.... You learn something new everyday....
