Edit-(Although it would be happier If he was still alive)
Today, 25th of May is Towel Day - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Towel_Day - to celebrate the life of the novelist, Douglas Adams , who died on May 11th 2001.
The writer of 'The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy' books, radio,TV and Movie. Also the Dirk Gently novels and others.

He died too young but left an entertaining legacy.

:applause:

Hope you hoopy froods all know where your towels are!! Mine is sat on the back of my chair and, joyfully, several other people in my office have also brought their towels in too! :icon_lol:

A wonderfully quirky & fitting tribute to somebody who gave us so much fun & was taken from us far too early.

And for all you developers out there who are badgered by us asking if it is "soon" yet, you might like this quote from Mr Adams:

"I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by."

Don't forget to bring a towel!

I like the man who the rain clouds love, and gets paid not to go near holiday resorts.:icon_lol:

And the "Sorry for the Inconvenience" sign, (which should be the name of the new Brit carrier).:icon_lol:

AHAHAHA! That's hysterical! I have been thinking about the rain God character a lot this spring. How funny he's the first guy to get a mention.
