Ugh! Another PC glassic gone the way of the FPS shooter!

I played the first and I really liked it. But now every game wants part of the Halo-COD action. I have not played a COD games since the first Modern Combat. The game-play was just way too repetitive.

The only shooter I regularly play now is Battle Field Bad Company because the focus isn't on fragging the other guy as it is team work, something I enjoy.

The game I have my eye on is Mass effect 3, and so far its looking heavy in to the FPS genre. But I have faith that Bioware will be able to strike a good balance between the FPS style Mass Effect 2 and the RPG style that was Mass effect.

Oh dear, they've ruined it. I've given up FPS'es almost completely due to simming, and inconceivable products like that won't change that. I doubt it's even got the pleasant squad commanding feature of previous titles. I bet you can't even use dnweapons in the new Duke as items carried have been limited because of consoles.
