'Tuesday 1900 Central: Speed Swap'

did lewis hit a barrier then say he was going much faster so it should have moved? :mixedsmi:

Yep!Lewis was really happy & judging by his post-drive comments, I expect to see him in NASCAR in a few years!

Didn't I say that in some post? F-1 is a tough series to stay on top, when one sees his performance there slipping, NASCAR is a perfect move, better than IRL pay-wise, if one can cut it. I would look forward to it. Looking forward to Darrell "Bubba" Wallace, Jr. in a couple of years. He has Gibbs backing and is only 17. I saw him win in the K & N Pro Series at Richmond. I also saw him at Bowman Gray, but that little track is sheer mayhem, nothing is sacred and even the winning car always has dents and usually is without front fenders. :icon_lol:

Might have linked this before: http://darrellwallacejr.com/dwjr/

Cazz,
If you watched the video, you would have seen that it's not a question of Lewis slipping in F1 but rather Lewis REALLY enjoyed himself.

They radioed in for him to bring it in & he drove right past the pits and said he couldn't hear their last transmission....:icon_lol:

And afterwards during the interview, he couldn't stop talking about how fun it was to drive....he wanted to put slicks on (it had rained) and go out an run some more laps!

I had to see the whole shabang just to see how they'd fit Smoke in an F-1 ride. :icon_lol:

Yeah, I think Lewis enjoyed going balls out in rolling thunder. :jump:

I'm looking forward to seeing what havoc Ken Block wreaks on the Pirelli owned Toyota F1 'Test Car'.
Perhaps neither Pirelli or Toyota want the car destroyed ............ :jump:
Louise in NASCAR??????
I can't see it happening.
F1 is 'Centre Stage' (despite ALL the negatives) and NASCAR is a bit player on that 'International Stage'.
We certainly don't expect Jenson Button to take on a post F1 career our V8 Supercar series.
