A French lady

Dewoitine D.338

A very pretty French Aircraft used as troop transport in WWII --- it sort of looks a bit like a Fiat G.12 with a longer nose -- maybe a touch of viagra.

It would be a interesting aircraft to fly.

A Vichy sample

One of them received Japanese markings at Saigon, but was in very advanced state of disrepair and never flew. Seven of them were leased by Lufthansa. Air France mechanics that were sent with the aircraft simply unbalanced the rudder. The German believed they were very unstable and the mechanics "repair" reinforced their opinion. They never flew again.

The third and last one is a Vichy sample:

That will be excellent for Operation Torch and north Afrika campaigns. thanks for a great job. Because of their early defeat by overwhelming forces the French military forces have not received the attention they deserved nor have the bravery and service of their forces been recognized partly because due to poor planning by the allies they were forces to oppose the allied landings in North Afrika. It was popular afterward to blame the French Vichy but it was largely the fault of inexperienced american planning efforts and green officers on the spot. Thanks again for expanding the French presence in CFS2. With Jean Bomber's wonderful North Africa work finally that theatre can come into its own in CFS2.
