View attachment 40782Royal Air Force impounded four Bf 108s on the outbreak of World War II and put into service, where they were designated Messerschmitt Aldon.\n\nDK280 was formally a civilian Messerschmitt Bf108B-1. It was a demonstrator, owned by the British agents for Messerschmitt, which had been imported by H.J.Aldington, the proprietor of AFN Ltd. This Taifun was first used by the RAE at Farnborough in connection with the tests carried out there on the Bf109E. The aircraft was impressed into the RAF on the 17th April 1941 and received the RAF serial DK280. It was allocated to the Maintenance Command Communication Squadron (MCCS) at Andover. Its undercarriage collapsed on landing at Weston Zoyland, was repaired and brought back on charge on 30th September 1943 with the same unit. It finally crashed (engine failure?) at Boughey Hall Farm, Colton, near Rugeley in Staffordshire on 20th July 1944.

Yoyo that winter camo is fantastic... Thank you

Many thanks to Mathias for this incredible plane and many thanks for all the skinners.

Really goods jobs.

You know what ?............... I'm happy ! :icon_lol::icon_lol::icon_lol:

Its a French Nord, but interesting, fish - skin :).
Thx Mathias for very, very good paint kit. Its pleasure to work with this.

well i finaly got around to flying it after buying it the other week, however for the life me the textures always look blurred (doesnt matter if its the 2048 or 4096 textures, and yes i did make sure the cfg setting was set to 4096), so i'm gonna guess its the mip maps, i've tried setting my driver options to high quality but it doesnt have any effect unfortunatly. So before i spend ages re-saveing all the textures without mips, is there a non-mip version of the textures anywhere that i can download? :)

Hi stiz,
no, there's no no-mip option.
Try using anisotropic filtering in your FSX aliasing settings, that should cure things.
Don't forget to shut down FSX and rerun the texture tool after applying changes to the FSX settings.

Some company for the pilot.
Not soon, probably towards September.
Some passengers so that the pilot isn't so awfully lonely.
Will most likely come with a payload manager.
Still needs some shader and posing work. :)

Filling those empty seats is something which should be a definite go "when size permits", that is for sure... :kilroy:

Always feel lonely when flying with no co-pilot or passenger sitting beside, behind or upfront.

Could you look at a way of "selecting" the type of caracter that will be added as those civilians outfits in a wartime plane do pose some temporal peculiarities which might have delighted 'Albert' but sometimes feel ackward for the average simmer... :icon_lol:

I love your plane Mathias !
