A2A Captain of the Ship released

Last I heard Huub they had some kind of German fighter in the works, and I will be getting that as well. I personally just really really really want the Phantom. I like all the aircraft they choose to make though.. Sometimes they have gotten me to question them (by making things like the Stratocruiser, and Cub), but I have come to love them as much as any other bird. Just think the Phantom is going to be a lot of fun, and curious to see how the whole Accu-sim tech will be turned to the jet side.

OK, I can't stand it any longer! A2A have the data on the R4360 right...Now here's an idea (Challenge)

Douglas C-124C Globemaster II

Crazy thought huh.
Cheers!

I have already paid for the 337 and accu-sim for the 337 and paid the same price as the newer vision (as old version of auccu-sim which no longer can be purchased)...I 'm not sure I care for this kind of upgrade :kilroy:

doublecool,

There is a discounted COTS version for all existing 377 Accu-Sim users. Also, if you did buy the old Accu-Sim in the past few months, we can grandfather you in. If you have any questions, just email us at support[at]a2asimulations.com.

Scott.

I don't get it - A2A is releasing a splendid upgrade for the B377 and all you do is arguing what plane is to come next. :isadizzy:

Well I bought "Captain of the Ship" yesterday on simmarket and I don't regret it. The ship is more alive than it was before. The flight engineer can take a load of your back - his whole panel can be "automated" now and if it is, you hear him saying "adjusting cowl flaps", "setting cabin pressurization", etcetc.
You can hear the passengers in the back and their reaction to your flying. You hear babies scream during depressurization on decent or some "ouuuugh" if your landing wasn't smooth enough. The captain's announcements are great too, he will for instance prepare your passengers for a bumpy climb if the weather is bad. Aaah and then there is stewardess Heidi offering you a hot coffee, or some scrambled eggs.

Nice addition to a wonderful aircraft! Thanks Scott and the A2A team, I will enjoy it for a looong time!:salute:

Cheers,
Vitus

I agree.

I liked it before and I still like it. It's just a much more realistic crew environment now. Before it was a matter of organizing flow to get everything done at the right time. There was pressure, but it wasn't realistic. Now there is that sense that the rest of the crew is doing their job and you get to fly and monitor what is happening.

Considering the limitations of FSX, I think it's a great job. Feels much more like my idea of what sitting in the left seat of this big complicated airplane must have been like.

Thanks to Scott and the rest of A2A! :applause:

cheers,
steve :wavey:

Like I already said before, it is an interesting add-on and I definitely appreciate A2A's efforts to make the flight sim more interresting. However there is a large group here which flies single seaters, for whom this add-on is less interesting.

As you are sure about A2A's attention in the thread I assume many take the opertunity to "remind" the people from A2A to their previous announcements.

Cheers,
Huub

Iam also enjoying the addon! Three years after the initial relase of the 377, it is a very refreshing addon to one of the most interesting aircrafts created for the FSX. Thank you for your hard work. Very innovative addon!

With FS2004, I found that I purchased a lot of "must have" addons that ended up being seldom used once the enjoyment of playing with the new toy worn off. In the end, I ended up with a very large collection of aircraft and scenery that was pretty much not used.

I made the conscious decision with FSX that I would only purchase those addons I KNEW I would make better use of. That meant I have taken a pass on a lot of exciting new aircraft...and my hanger doesn't contain four different Spitfires that seldom to never get used.

By limiting my fleet I've found that I enjoy the fewer I do have a lot more then I enjoyed the many I previously had with FS2004.

This package is the kind of innovative thinking that keeps the enjoyment level of FSX high for me; providing a totally new experience.

......Phantom!!!!!!! There are MiG-21's in the area that need to be.....tended.....to.....

I purchased the upgrade... Birthday and all and all I can say is, What fun
when she first came out it took me a week to learn everything to fly her and land with no help from the co pilot and flight engineer :isadizzy:

now I load her up and me and the crew go flyin... :wavey:

Thank You A2A :salute:

Loved her before just didn't fly her much :applause:
