Anyone been able to get past mach 1.4? Even in a near vertical, full a/b dive it wouldn't go faster.

Nope, floored it at FL360, could not exceed Mach 1.2 in level flight. Not sure how to fix this, the FDE looks quite unusual: Empty weight is set almost 2x what it should be according to the books and the engine parameters look odd too with e.g. a thrust_scalar=2.0. My faint guess is this has been done intentionally to give the flight characteristics a heavy feeling to it? Without a good understanding of what is behind this, I am afraid messing about with the engine/weight values might make things worse...
 
Its not somthing to do with the auto cone settings is it? What was the aircrafts top speed in real life could it go to mach 2.0?P.s. Zsolt would you please release your Finnish and Indian AF textures please?

That's why I asked if there are any Mig 21 pilots who would like to have high quality FDs for the Mig-21, but there wasn't a single reply....

Barfly sent me already very useful links, so it might be possible to achieve FDs of similar quality as for the Milviz T-38.
 
I can't get the ILS indicator to work.Set in nav1 radio the ils frequency but the needles on the indicator don't moves. Anyewlse get this problem?

Here is a famed Russian repaint produced by french repainter Fulbert.

This is "Blue 30" seen in Reims french air force base in 1971 during a visit of the Soviet Air Force Chief Commander, Marechal P.S. Kutakhov.

This new version take back all modifications proposed by Bob Chicilo but without the 2D panel, plus :

a realistic two underwing fuel tanks configuration
new contact points for the front wheel
the repaint kit
starting procedure
"Blue 30" repaint only

I download it and added after the original and add-on repaints on this version.
Very interesting !
