Staying at Newcastle, from today (Jul. 30th) to Dec. 17th, to set up a new
Li-ion battery plant for electric vhiecle (Nissan Leaf) in Sunderland.

I'm expecting summer vacation in Britain for 2 weeks. Please let me know
"Must Visit" places.

BTW, Ju-388 is currently halted. Sorry for making you disssapointed. I
hope you understand.

Sunderland eh? Just don't leave anything unattended, or not nailed down, in fact don't turn your back for a moment. It'll be half-hinched in the blink of an eye. lol

Edit - bit unfair, all that really applies to Liverpool. Geordies won't wait for you to turn your back....

Try and visit Lindisfarne whilst there, but pay attention to the tides else you may not get back in time.. Beautiful area.

Naismith is right - Lindisfarne is a must see & Sunderland is not far away from Wallsend, so you should take in Hadrian's Wall as well - I'd give Bigg Market on Friday Night a miss though ( on the other hand, it depends on what you're into - I can guarantee All of human life [ & then some ] is on display ...........

Aviation related - if you can, visit the RAF Museum Hendon

http://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/london/

& Cosford ( some Japanese Planes there )

And with any luck, whenever you go, there'll be something Flying at Duxford

.......and of course, the finest Country House in England is here (not far from where I live )

http://www.chatsworth.org/

.......and that's not far from the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution ( a World Heritage Site, like the Pyramids ..... )

:icon_lol: You'll surely be welcome ...........

Hello, everyone.

Thank you for the info.
I'm not a great foot ball fan, but I must vist Newcastle's match.

About aircraft museums, there is one near the Nissan factory, named
North East Aircraft Museum. There is an Avaro Vulcan being displayed.

I'm also planing to visit the Doune castle, the Camelot in the Holy Grail.
Thanks to Europian swallows for carrying a coconut to Tesco.
(The present problem is how to cut it into halves, though.)

Well, I'll start exploring Britain by visiting a pub tonight!

You could try the BBMF at Coningsby, lincs. They have a large collection of airworthy RAF warbirds, 6 Spitfires, 1 Hurricane (the other is on major overhaul at Duxford), 1 Dakota and the mighty Lancaster Bomber (one of only two airworthy worldwide, the other being in Canada) a great day out there and again you may see something flying.
