God DAMMIT. I love Eureka! The cancel SG1, Atlantis (never watched much) and now THIS great show. I haven't watched such a great ensemble cast since Firefly.

Grrrr... As long as Carter doesn't marry Allison...
 
Once again the networks prove that they don't have a clue what the viewing audience actually wants. Cancel all the good shows, fill the air space with more stoopid reality shows.

So glad I cancelled cable tv and stopped wasting money to watch all the nothingness that the networks dish out.

I gave up on "Syfy" when they changed their name <sigh>. I still watch Warehouse 13 but for how long...
 
Frank had some pretty good views on why they do stuff like this.

Specifically he is talking about the music industry but it can equally be applied to television.

when eureka did that thing where the whole first season "didnt happen"..or whatever that was about...threw me...i couldnt watch anymore..couldnt take the writers serious anymore....like...well...i didnt like what i wrote first season..lets make that all a big dream,and start over....ack...
 
Seeing as the Syfy channel is run by USA networks it doesn't surprise me. I used to watch this channel alot growing up. But recently I've seen that they put Wrestling on it, what ever happened to my Saturday morning anime. OK, I know it's fake but come on this is the Sci-Fi channel...just my two cents.:a1451:

They took away batlestar galactica and buck rogers so I could care less for them. If they broguht back that and twighlight zone and some 80's sci-fi, I might forgive them.

the really bad thing is, the reality shows are just cheap copies of other really bad reality shows...
just keeps getting worse and worse

Yup, Farscape, did it for me too, Sci-Fi/Syfy just won't leave a good thing alone!
"Imagine Better" Everyday. I guess SYFY considers Wrestling Science Fiction. Saturday Morning cartoons aren't any good either.

Jericho was one of THE very best serials ever produced, and I deeply feel cheated that it was cancelled.

As for "SyFy," I finally got around to adding it (at considerable expense!) to my Digital Cable lineup, just in time to find that all of the really good shows either had already been cancelled, or were shortly cancelled.

As a result, as of the end of this month I'm reverting to "Digital Economy" from Comcast, and even that may not last too long. I'm giving serious consideration to the WoW cable service.
 
That just opens the door for more crap that no one will want to watch, but it will be cheaper to produce! I can't really say I am surprised because nothing the networks do anymore surprises me, but I hate to see the show go.

So, I decide to go looking.. At least they will finish the series, but then I read about how CBS is going relaunch Bewitched (WTH??) and lets not forget the new Charlies Angels, really?? Do we really need more of these old shows?? Lets cancel the shows that are original and bring back ones that have been dead for years.. Bleh!
