Thanks for the HU Roger. For me as a Dutchman living close to Haarlem, this is a special aircraft. If I could now only manage to fly it!

Cheers,
Huub

I thought you Dutchies might like it:ernae: but anyone who enjoys low and slow will like it too!

First impressions: Some great details but it could use a few more textures in certain areas and the 'Fokker' name is missing from the wings. Plenty of nice details to look at though, especially on the wires and engine. Not easy to fly (The first two 'Spins' (Spyders) crashed on take-off); this Fs model is a copy of the third model that had a short production run. Once you know that the aircraft has no ailerons it is a bit easier but don't fly it in anything but great weather!

Now..This looks interesting! Not much forward visibility though............................

so might swap out the vc.....for the F-18 one :icon_lol:

Why is it that when I move the joystick left, the machine goes right??

Otherwise it's a great plane.

This is a great machine for the stick and rudder folks. Low and slow. I use the sounds from Bill Lionheart's Bestmann.

It took a long flight from Valkenburg (EHVB) to Haarlem to come to the conclusion NL2000 doesn't have the Bavo church.

Huub, I started from the Polderbaan, thought that was a long flight too and came to the same conclusion.. Shame we can't recreate that historic moment!

Okay, I know its a different "church" and another town, but gives an impression what it must have looked like. (The Bavo church has a "dome" instead of a tower, but has a green corroded copper roof.)

Ferry I took a look at the textures, but as one texture is used for the top, bottom, left and right wing I can put Fokker on them.

Cheers,
Huub

Luv these vintage aeroplanes, can't get enough of them! :) And this one is nice and tricky to fly.

Is there another link for this model? I keep getting "blank page" when I click on the link in the first post.

Thanks, Paul

Paul, try right-clicking and selecting "save target as" - it worked for me, as I was getting the blank page too. ; )
