I love the old birds, and would really love a FSX DC6. I know there is a freeware one, fs9 import, its not bad but really would love a native fsx version.

Quite a mistery why these wonderful vintage airliners are so much overlooked by the FSX commercial devs, isn't it...

Plenty are still in use so it's not that one cannot have access to it. I'd pay a small fortune for a full blown, all bells & whistles DC-4, -6, and -7...

C'mon gentlemen, you know who you are, get at it and put a stop to this blatant absence in FSX of one of the most important series of propliners that paved the way to mass air transport. Don't you know it'll sell like hotcakes ! ;)

Cheers,
Jan

And DC8's never seen one worthy yet.

The DC-6, DC-7, Stratocruiser and Constellation families found over at Tom Gibson's CalClassics all work perfectly well in FSX where I find endless enjoyment from flying these old propliners.

And DC8's never seen one worthy yet.

Now THAT is something that's always saddened me! I'd give leg for a decent bells & whistles Diesel 8 with a VC...for either FS9 or FSX. Maybe someday!...

I've seen pics of a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery early DC-8 fuselage in GMax, but either the dev is hard at work or gave up.

Oh well, for me, a 8-7x is still on my "would do" list, but don't cross your fingers that it's going to be for a MS flight sim.

As for DC-6s: www.calclassic.com

And Jens Kristensen's versions.

This is why some of us took up modelling: I would really like a Worpmann Fussbuckett, why hasn't anyone done one yet????? Several years down the line, I'm still at the VC and I hardly fly FS any more...

Little Johnny junior : Dad, all my friends have an iPod. Can i have one too ??....

Big John senior : Shut up, boy ! Didn't i give you a Walkman last Christmas !!? .... Spoiled little brat...

My dad always replied "If you want one, work for it and buy it yourself."

Had I replied "But dad, I'm too dumb to work.", he would have said "Well, then learn to live without your iPod."

True story. Really!
