My summer hollidays works on the theme of Spanish Civil War

De Havilland DH-60 should be a 60G III, but only DH-60G was available.
De Havilland DH-98a is a French model, with temporary republicans markings on civil French paintings and codes
De havilland DH-83 is the only known used during this war
Marcel Bloch MB 200 was locally produced (2 to 7 aircrafts)

DH-60 is a converted FS2004 to be found on Flightsim
If any volunteers, DP file needed for DH-60

All other models are based on aircrafts existing in the Sim-Outhouse library, including the Dragon Rapide, I think.

If any interest, I'll upload those textures

Happy landings

The Spanish airforce also had a number of WW1 vintage DH-9's @ the beginning of the civil war. I did Republican & Nationalist skins for the Alphasim model. I'll see if they happen to be on my external HD as my PC is still 'dead in the water' @ present. I'll upload them if they are accessible to me.

Oh HELL Yeah !!!

fde and OW;

I think it's silly to even ASK these days.....
:mixedsmi:

PLEASE Upload any and all - there's a
SCW Storm a-Brewin', and we're gonna need all the planes we can get !

Thanks Way In Advance
:salute:

fde and OW

Please upload, I had these on my repaint to-do list, along with some variations, eg Dh-89 Bomber - am very happy to see some more interest in the subject,
very nice skins, look forward to down-loading them.
:applause::jump:

Only question is, for any SCW uploads should we all adopt the SCW Aircraft/Creators name to make it easy for the libraries we all have. Thoughts Rami ?
:isadizzy:

When I get a bit more done I will upload a spreadsheet of aircraft models (eg Polikarpov R-5, Fokker F.Vii etc) that we can all use as a database.

Sorry, format problem with my computer

Hello Seagull V
I'll normally download all 4 within this week
I also have a Polikarpov R-5, but with some modifications still to be made.
I painted her also with Chinese, Soviet and Soviet Winter schemes.
But alas, no VC for this model, and also no DP file, as it's a FS 2004 converted model (By Alexander Belov)
Question: has anybody ever made a Scarff Ring ( machinegun mount / WW I style) as DP object?
I also need authorisation from author to D/L those textures
Regards

Will also need some gun-tubes and egg-shaped objects with fins on the back for some models.

DP for R-5 ? Looking at using the DP from the R-Z.
Also looking at an aggressive Dh-89 & Fokker F-VII DPs, along with a few others, unless someone else beats me to them of course :)

Some of the old CFS1 and FS2000 aircraft paint up very nice although they are not as detailed as the FS2004 models.
Jed with his knowledge of how things work has also made the appearance of some more aircraft a possability as well.

well as Seagull V said I found a good source of files that can help you guys out on this project turns out EAW has a huge set of mods in there archive
one of them also includes SCW I also found a way to transport the models used in this game there is a translation problem to get this files and they need some adjusting before we can use them well but over all it's a gold mine of airplanes we can use

Yes JD,

EAW does have a huge number of add on aircraft models. I made a number of them - including many of the SCW models.

Captain Kurt's EAW models site is here:

http://www.sandbagger.uk.com/CK/home.html

The EAW community is still very active and their work goes on to improve the game, though I am no longer active there. I moved on to CFS2 as I see it as a better platform with much more flexibility to create historic campaigns.

Your enthusiasm is great to see. However, the models in EAW are not abandon ware. Many have copyrights associated with them. You can't just raid those files willy nilly. You would do well to introduce yourself, explain what you are trying to accomplish and ask permission and/or help. Some will say yes and others will say no - you need to ask though.

You should also be aware that the original developer, Microprose was bought out by Atari. Atari is very aggressive about protecting thier source code, but working with the 3DZ 3D model program has not been an issue.

Did you want to use any of my models?
