Aerobatic plane for FSX - RealAir on discount!

P38man

Charter Member 2011
Somehow, being a relative newcomer in FSX, I missed this great package which is now on a discount at Realair - Citabria, Decathlon and Scout package.
(I knew about their spitfire and dukes)

Great Realair flight dynamics, buffetting, side slips, stalls and spins

I really want to do Aerobatics in the Decathlon

I think this is the Scout.

Just bought it.

Hi P38man,
Can you confirm that the pack is FsX native i.e. are there 2 .mdl files in each model folder?
I've been considering this for a while but not certain that it is native as they use the term compatible with FsX which Phil Taylor used to describe an fs8/9 model adjusted to work in FsX.

I have this FSX aircraft for a long time.
Each RealAir Scout has two mdl files in \model.

They all are coded
- MDLXMDLH

Roger, yes it does include the two models in each folder. It is FSX Native. I just bought the upgrade package, which is identical to the new purchase, but you must have already purchased the FS9 package. I've had these aircraft since they were first released. Excellent packages.

Really impressed for a four year old model:applause:

Thanks!
Been on the fence about these-I already own the spit, regular & turbine Duke

Off to buy now

I just installed it (was busting to do it earlier but have been awayfrom my pc).

I am so happy with it - very immersive!

One of the best for sure.

Has anyone got the RealAir spit? - I have the A2A one - what is it like ?

A lot of us have the Real Air Spit. I had it in Fs9 and when the update came for FsX I had it there too.

Can't believe you guys haven't owned these planes... probably some of the first native payware models to come out for FSX!!

Yay!

I have the Scout/Decathlon/Citabria package and both Dukes from RealAir. They remain among my most favorite planes.
