I'm sure most here have seen this before, but for those that haven't...

A magnificent display of airmanship by the Belgian AF. The manoeuvre was banned soon afterwards when a pilot, "Susse" Jacobs, was killed attempting it.

Perhaps a "challenge" for our resident Hot Shot sim-video uploaders?

It was the maneouver made by G.L "Snake" Reeves ( you know, one of "the Sure Project" writers) on take off. He was lockheed test pilot and he was in charge of demostrate to overseas friendly squadrons that the zipper was not so dangerous. After some lectures he picked up a standard F104 of the squadron ( nothing special) and he flew a impressive air show, pushing the envelope. It was really amazing what he could do with a standard plane...

A time ago Leo, one of our VAAFSE pilots recorded a "Snake" air show. I have the complete manueovers display index somewhere....

Many of you will recognize the name Dirk Stuck? He's created quite a bit for FSX. Dirk is a former Luftwaffe F-104 pilot.

What a stunt!
Did you see that guy in the crowd of pilots, that eventually walked away to the right? He did not look all to happy...

Cheers,
Mark
