Eagle Rotorcraft Simulations Bell 206 update

euroastar350

SOH-CM-2023
An update to the Bell 206 ERS is working on.

1.) All 15 exterior visual models are done

2.) VCs are 90% complete, they need a consistency check in order to finalise all 3D model work

3.) Liveries are 95% complete

4.) FDE are 95% complete

All that is left to do is create thumbnails for all liveries, finish the FDE, documents, installer and anything else we've missed....which I hope we didn't:icon_lol: A few recent captures of the 206 in action. A big gracious thanks goes out to Owen Hewitt for making this possible:ernae:

Very nice, what is it? An update to the existing 206 or an upgrade of the Owen model?
How does it compare to Dodo?
What about FDE if it's not Dodo, how about turbine simulation?, other systems?
Freeware, payware?

A lot of questions, but except for the pretty pictures, I miss some additional info.

Thanks,

About the only thing I'm qualified to answer is that it'll be freeware. I'll leave the rest up to the helicopter professionals. :icon_lol:

Anneke,

It's an FSX native conversion to Owen's FS9 Bell 206. (he sent us the gmax source files for the conversion) We're offering to FDE versions...one that is easy to fly and one that flies quite realistically. (according to a real Bell 206 pilot) There are not really any systems simulated, as we tried to keep the conversion pretty simple. We did a few visual enhancements on the exterior while maintaining compatibility with FS9 paints. In the future, we may come back and do some custom systems. And this is freeware.
