A2A Update

Accu-sim Re-defining realism! I just love it and have already reserved front row spots in my hanger for these two! :applause::salute::jump:

Oh, wow!!! Accu-Sim has been developed to the point that you can start the engine with the primer? I have long wanted realism like this in Flight Sim. :jump:

I really think A2A is the best (sim) aircraft developer there is. Transparent, fun and I'm learning every time. Thank you for this video and that P-40 is mine!!

This is just outstanding! I've been waiting for the Accusimmed P-40 for a long time. The P-40 is my favorite warbird and I still fly the WoP III P-40 most of the time. The P-40 holds a special place in my heart since most all of them were built right here in good old Buffalo NY maybe 4 or 5 miles from my home.

Great work Scott and company!

Mike

I wonder if all those great skins Jankees did for the WOP P 40 will work on the acusim version. Really hate to lose them.

Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how you look at it :)

The old P-40 skins will not work with the new version due to many updates and changes to the new version. I had initially planned a minor update to the resolution of the existing textures but found that so much was wrong with the panel or rivet layout that I simply had to throw away 99% of everything and start from scratch. The result is a much more accurate and detailed "long nose" P-40.

Ahh the price of progress,Well hopefully the talented skinners in the community will embrace her once again.

Don't suppose A2A brought their measuring/recording equipment while they were playing around with those 109 flaps :jump:

Looking great, I think the P-40 will really be the bush pilot's warbird, great ride for the FTX sceneries.

Pilottj,

Yes we did have our equipment and recorded various systems and measured parts. I remember being surprised by the weight and strength of that canopy. The fit is nicely engineered with heavy, dense seals. It almost makes you think you are in a pressurized cabin - it is that well built.

Scott.
