Our Masters have allowed me to use another of their new creations for some missions..
And as always I managed to wreck it all..

A Brave bunch of lads from England seems to have done this a bit better then a hobbit does...
I didn't bend the B-24 too badly, made it home in Her..
Good old American Iron..

Yes badly treated the He 177, even when I was flying Her..
Always ended up full of Holes from the B-24..Dog fighting in bombers is a challenge..
Have a look ..

This evening, I was flying a long range recon mission from Bordeaux with a I/KG 40 FW200 Condor from Bordeaux. In the Bay of Biscay, I spotted and engaged a CC Whitley, I shot it down with the 20mm gun!
In the Atlantic, I spotted a convoy. I hit a merchantship with 4x250kg bombs but she didn't sunk.... Despite severe flak damages recieved from the destroyer escort, I came back to Bordeaux and landed safely after I lowered the landing gear manually. It was a 12 hours flight.

Yes the Fw 200 is great for dog fighting..
The 20mm cannon makes a large amount of damage then used..

I have a mission I built some time back where you have the chance to Use her like this..
Don't remember which set, too many to remember them all..:icon_eek:
Bravo on these..
:salute: :salute: :salute:

Wow, I never really saw a bomber versus bomber dogfight before. I guess there's a first time for everything. BTW, when you guys mentioned flying for 12 hours, how do you do it? My missions sometimes run from 6-7 hours at least in campaign mode.

On the other side of the coin defending one of these Lib fighter_bombers is an interesting experience, (as in vomit-comet) as the ai throws it about whilst you sit in a turret.:tgun2::tgun2:

Well, Jeff, you wanted a dogfighting Lib, you got it. Ya just gotta double-up on the dramamine pills is all. LOLOLOLOL

Challenge for the b24

Try the JU290, would think she could stand on her own against the lib

Guys, yes, it's Ted's Liberator versus Ted's Ju 290. In the words of O' Blue Eyes himself, Frank Sinatra, "I did it MYYYYY WAYYYYY". LOL

HINT: To do the above, you have to lead until the target is out of view well beneath the top edge of your instrument panel. Yep, you can't see what you're shootin' at.

Ya gotta "Use the Force, Luke". LOLOLOLOL
