Here are a couple of shots of the New Mexico F-16 escorting an Extender over Saudi Arabia just outside of Prince Sultans AB. Thanks Yago for you paints of the Aerosoft Fighting Falcon. She is really fun to fly. The Extender is one of MAIW's great collection of AI aircraft.

Enjoy, Tom

Very nice shot's :applause:

How do you get MAIW to work without losing your FSX traffic? (like traffic FX etc.)

Tom may not be using any traffic addon, just select aircraft.

there is a converter at AVSIM I believe that converts FS9 style traffic files into the FSX format.

nice shots Tom! :ernae:

Yes Michael is correct, I use AI Flight Planner to create the bgl file. That file goes into the FSX/Scenery/World/Scenery folder. The FS9 MAIW aircraft work just fine in FSX as you can see from this picture and the C-130 and F-16 AI aircraft in my Desert Storm AB scenery. Be sure not to put the MAIW traffic bgls into FSX or you will not see any My Traffic AI aircraft. Alway install the MAIW traffic into a temporary folder and just put their aircraft into the SimObjects/Airplanes folder. Hope this helps.

Glad you enjoy it. Do you know where i can get AI Flight Planner tool..?Thx!

Here you go Yago9, takes a little practice but works really great. You can get some great aircraft over at MAIW.

Get it here! Just page down to AI Flight Planner 1.5

Enjoy, Tom

You can create a seperate folder for your AI aircraft as I have done. Just need to open your cfg file and add a line to recognise the new folder. This way, I keep my flyable and non-flyable aircraft apart which makes things easier.

This is true guzler, but for the AI to work in Desert Storm AB, the AI aircraft must be in the SimObjects/Airplane folder for them to be seen. This is the way the bgls were made. If I had made them using a different folder everyone would have to change their FSX.cfg file for the planes to show up. The idea is a good one but adds more steps that everyone may not be able to handle.

Thanks, Tom
