Duxford Flying 2011

Now that is what I like to see!
Bf-109s and Spitfires flying in formation as friends!

Was there just about every model P-40 and Bf-109 represented?

It also showed, or rather exemplified, why the Corsairs were called "Whistling Death" by the IJN pilots. I have to admit that the first time through I watched. The second time through I listened to engine sounds through the music.

I will watch probably a 3rd and 4th time just to look at paint jobs.

That B-17, I have seen up close and personal at other airshows, unless there is another with the same nose art.

I have flown FS2004 at Duxford. Nice AI aircraft flying around and on the taxiways in FS2004 there.

Thanks again for that. It is very nicely done!

Thanks for posting, good to see the old girls still flying. BUT don't ya just hate it when somebody puts music all over the aeroplane sounds. Us aero fanatics like to hear the engines rubble and Corsair whistle etc.
