CH FW-190A-9 in Japanese colors

Blues is Life
Hey folks, I had an inkling to see what the FW-190 would look like in Imperial Japanese colors. I did both white and green styles. It masqurades pretty well as a Japanese fighter. If anyone wants it, I will package and upload it here.

Impressive how some different colors and markings can change the personality of an aircraft!
Yes, please upload!

Nice Pilottj! Like Mathias already said, they suddenly look very different. Somehow they really look like developments from earlier Japanese aircraft.

Cheers,
Huub

:icon_lol: Instead of using Harvard,s in the movies 'Tora Tora Tora' and the 'Battle of Midway' they should have restarted the FW190 production in the early 70s , we are fortunate to have one off , i guess one of the many once production is stepped up based here in New Zealand :kilroy:

Ferry, you're right, I was just gonna say the FW looks very Mitsubishi when it's dressed up in IJN paint. :)

Lol yeah well with Flugwerks producing FW-190s, they could stand in for Japanese fighters pretty well. Certianly it could fill in for the later IJA fighters such as the KI-84 or KI-100 which are similar in many ways to the FW-190.

Makes you wonder how a FW-190 would have fared against a Corsair or Hellcat.

Anyway, I have submitted the package for upload.
