Watched this again only recently, tis a very good film Mike.

Have just had a look through my DvD's and have these classic B&W aviaton-themed war films from around that era;

(in the UK one of the Sunday papers were giving away a lot of old war films a while back)

Angels-One-Five
The way to the stars
Landfall
Reach for the sky
Twelve O'clock High
Dambusters
The Malta Story

What similar films are there?

This is a movie about WWI pilots and WWI planes. Not a old movie. Sure fun seeing the old wire wing planes flying around.
